I PUC COACHING CLASSES 2018 – 2019
The primary objective of YASHASWI is to make students of pre-university course to get indepth knowledge in PCMB subjects at plus two level, so that when the students join professional colleges, it would be very easy for them to excel in their courses. Further, they are trained to enhance their academic skills required for both the board and competitive exams like CET, JEE (Main), JEE (Advanced), NEET etc.,. This has been going on in our institute for the LAST 25 YEARS . Top ranks in II PUC, CET, JEE (Main), NEET and other competitive exams secured every academic year, is a clear reflection of hard and diligent work carried out by students who have been taught by excellent and dedicated teaching staff. The Institute has been training students even for JEE (Main), JEE (Advanced) [National Level Entrance Tests for those who desire to join the Technical courses in IIT’s, NITs] and NEET [National level entrance examination for those who desire to join any medical college in India].

COURSE – A
First year PUC 2018 – 19 leading to II Year PUC 2019 – 2020 and CET / COMED – K Engg. Entrance exams 2020 and JEE (Main) –2020 [Joint Entrance Examination (main)] & JEE - Advanced – 2020 [Joint Entrance Examination – (advanced)] as an intensive integrated course in PCM subjects.
NOTE: NO DIRECT ADMISSION WILL BE MADE FOR COURSE - A IN II YEAR PUC.
COURSE – B
First year PUC 2018 – 19 leading to II Year PUC 2019 – 2020 and CET – Engg/ COMED – K Engg and NEET – 2020 as an intensive integrated course in PCMB subjects
COURSE – C
First year PUC 2018 – 19 leading to II Year PUC 2019 – 2020 and CET / COMED – K Engg. Entrance exams 2020 (Training the students exclusively for CET/COMED-K Engineering with PCM combination)

II SUBJECTS IN WHICH COACHING IS OFFERED
a) COURSE – A
Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM)
b) COURSE – B
Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology (PCMB)
c) COURSE – C
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM)
1. Students with PCME/PCMC combinations in their colleges can opt for either Course – A or Course – C
2. Students with PCMB combination can opt for any one of the above three courses
III PROCURING THE APPLICATION FORMS
Applications are issued in the MAIN CENTRE OFFICE (Mahalakshmipuram) FREE OF COST for courses – B & C. However, students intending to apply for Course – A are required to pay a NON REFUNDABLE entrance test FEES of Rs. 500 including GST at the rate of 18 %.
IV MODE OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
Separate applications are to be submitted for the above mentioned courses (A, B & C). Students who fail to secure a seat for course A will be considered for B or C courses, if the score is equivalent or more than the cut off point for the selection for course – B or C. Filled in applications accompanied by a passport size photo and a Xerox copy of marks card of SSLC / equivalent examination / marks sheet downloaded from the website of the respective examination board, should be submitted in the office of the MAIN CENTRE (Mahalakshmipuram) on or before 10 – 05 – 2018.
Students applying for Course – A should provide YET – 18 (YASHASWI ENTRANCE TEST) test fee receipt and a passport size photo in addition to the above.
V CRITERIA FOR SELECTION
COURSE – A
Selection for this course is exclusively based on YET – 18 RANKS (Yashaswi Entrance Test) which are declared by considering the performance in YET and aggregate marks in Science, Maths and English of SSLC/CBSE/ICSE or any other equivalent board exam in the ratio of 60 : 40 respectively.
COURSE – B or C
Aggregate Marks scored in SSLC or equivalent exam viz CBSE/ICSE or any other Board exam.
1.A weightage of 10 Marks will be given for CBSE / ICSE students. This is applicable for Courses – B & C only.
2. BATCHES WILL BE ALLOTTED AT THE TIME OF COUNSELLING, STRICTLY BASED ON MERIT AND AVAILABILITY OF SEATS IN A BATCH.

100 multiple choice questions (25 from Physics, 25 from Chemistry and 50 from mathematics) based on SSLC SYLLABUS (ONLY X STANDARD).
vi) MODE OF ASSESMENT
Every correct answer carries 4 marks, however 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
